A Clarksville man and woman were charged with theft after they reportedly took items from Ace Hardware in Cadiz Wednesday afternoon.
Cadiz Police say 32-year-old Marcos Vielma and 31-year-old Cynthia Tuck took 22 items with a total value of $827 from the business.
During the arrest, Tuck reportedly claimed she didn’t know what Vielma was doing but stolen items were found in her bag.
Police say a scale with drug residue on it, two prescription bottles one with an unknown substance inside was also found inside the bag.
They were both arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
