Saturday morning will be a busy one for those participating in the ‘Unity Summit’ that was planned for last fall but was postponed because of COVID-19.
Hopkinsville Mayor Wendell Lynch tells the News Edge the event will be held at the Christian County Middle School beginning at 9:00.
Registration is open now at hoptown.org/unity, or you can register the morning of beginning at 8:30. The summit is expected to end around Noon Saturday, with a take-out lunch available after the event.
Mayor Lynch, Christian County Judge-Executive Steve Tribble, Pembroke Mayor Judy Peterson, Oak Grove Mayor Theresa Jarvis, Lafayette Mayor Jared Thatcher, and Crofton Mayor Danny Lacy are expected to be a part of the summit.
The theme of the event is “Where Do We Go From Here?”
