Following a careful review of construction and renovation projects within and around facilities, the Todd County School District has officially postponed the start of the 2021-22 academic year.
The decision comes following a special-called school board meeting held Thursday night.
The first day of 1st through 12th grade will now be August 25. Preschool and kindergarten will begin on September 1.

Per Todd County School officials, a myriad of improvements — including keyless entry door locks, new intercom systems, restroom renovations, door entry compliance upgrades, upgraded air-handler systems, and ionized air purification systems — are going into every classroom for a “better learning environment.”
