FNB Bank has announced over $24,000 has been donated to schools in Trigg and Graves counties through its Spirit Debit Card Program.
The Spirit Card works like a traditional debit card and for each signature-based transaction, FNB donates ten cents to the corresponding school. The tracking process is hassle-free for the cardholder, as FNB does all the tracking and submits the check to each school on a quarterly basis. Those funds are used how each school system sees fit.
During the second quarter of the program, FNB donated $14,326 to the Trigg County Board of Education.
The donated funds are utilized at the school’s discretion.
