The Christian County Fiscal Court spent considerable time on Tuesday lauding the efforts of the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville Christian County, regarding its programming for the August 8 “Emancipation Day” over the weekend.
District 1 magistrate Maggie Ferguson said she was blown away by the Sunday presentation at the Pennyroyal Area Museum, which played to a packed house.
District 5 magistrate Rich Liebe also attended “Emancipation Day” festivities in and around the museum, and noted he was particularly taken aback by the recent addition of a “Keith Tandy” display — in what is a showcase of his Super Bowl materials during last season’s championship run with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
