Casey Parrent Resigns As Cadiz Main Street Manager

The City of Cadiz is looking for a new main street director following the resignation of Casey Parrent after two years in the position.

The city made the announcement on Facebook Monday afternoon.

Parrent oversaw programs involving the downtown business and historic district that included the farmer’s market, downtown festivals, and management of the Renaissance Center. She was also in charge of designing creative backdrops at the city’s renaissance stage for photo backdrops that drew people to the downtown area.

Parrent also chaired the Trigg County Ham Festival Committee, leaving them without a director just two months before the annual event.

Prior to her position as main street director, Parrent worked as the office manager for the Cadiz Police Department.

In the social media post, the City announced applications for the main street manager position can be picked up and dropped off at Cadiz City Hall until September 15.
