As the Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center prepares to close for the season, Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation has set aside Tuesday evening to allow you and your dog a chance to take advantage of the pool.
Parks & Rec Program Director Toby Hudson says the annual ‘Doggy Dip’ will begin at 5:00.

Hudson says it cost just a few dollars for your dog to take a dip.

click to download audioTie Breaker Family Aquatic Center, located at 9503 Eagle Way, is a seasonal aquatic center that features slides, a lazy river and water play equipment, plus concessions.
The water park typically opens for the summer season Memorial Day weekend, however this year for its 15th season, the opening was delayed until June 15th after Governor Andy Beshear ended the statewide outdoor mask mandate for venues of less than 1,000 people due to COVID-19.
