A Pembroke man was charged after he reportedly assaulted a woman on Spring Street in Pembroke Sunday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 50-year-old David Holmes was in a verbal argument with a woman over spending time with someone else when he pushed her down, hit her in the ribs, and punched her in the face and head multiple times.
The woman was able to get help by notifying her daughter that was in another state. Holmes was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
