Hopkinsville Community College will host a special Future Grad Event Friday that is designed to help current students stay on track to graduation, and assist transfer and returning students in finding their paths at the college.
HCC spokeswoman Rena Young says the first session during the 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. time slot is for current HCC students. The afternoon session from 1 – 3 p.m. time slot is for returning HCC students whose enrollment status has lapsed and transfer students from other institutions. She says no appointments are necessary.
According to Young, students who attend the event will receive one-on-one assistance from the college’s Registrar and Admissions staff to include:
– On-demand degree audit
– Discussion of requirements left to earn a degree
– Setting of potential graduation date
– Advising for Fall II October and/or Spring 2022 class registration
– Transfer students receive an evaluation of transcripts by the HCC Registrar in which attendees must bring an unofficial copy of college transcripts.
