The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is hosting a unique fundraiser featuring local downtown restaurants. Scheduled for Saturday, November 13, the “Drop-In Dinner” will provide ample opportunity to participate in a progressive-style dinner at places like The Main Street Tavern, The Local, The Mixer, as well as desserts and coffee from the Corner Coffee House. Proceeds from the event will be used to purchase a new book drop for the library.
Guests will have an opportunity to experience Hopkinsville’s local downtown food scene with a “mixology” twist, in which each location has created menus with drink pairings to highlight specific tastes.
Tickets are $80/individual and $150/couple, and the event begins with a noon check-in at Hopkinsville Brewing Company and ends in the evening with a visit to the library on 1101 Bethel Street.
The tickets do include specialty appetizers and a signature cocktail at each location, a souvenir cup and a unique opportunity with friends and family. Tickets are currently on sale and may be purchased online at the HCCPL website, its social media pages or by visiting https://hopkinsville-christian-city-library.square.site/.
