This week is National Fire Prevention Week. Governor Andy Beshear is directing flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff on Sunday, October 3, in honor of the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.
The Service commemorates the brave firefighters and first responders who risk their lives to protect Americans and officially begins Fire Prevention Week, which takes places October 3 through 9, 2021. Beshear is encouraging individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the commonwealth to join in these tributes.
