Webster County Man Charged With Meth Possession

A Clay man was charged with possession of meth after a report of a suspicious vehicle on East 7th Street Friday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say a homeowner called law enforcement for a suspicious occupied vehicle in his driveway and 28-year-old Daniel McKinley was found in the vehicle.

McKinley was reportedly disoriented and claimed he was in his girlfriend’s driveway. After of search of his belongings meth and a digital scale were allegedly found.

Police say McKinley was endangering himself and others by being behind the wheel of a running vehicle. He is charged with public intoxication and possession of meth.
