Two Charged After High-Speed Pursuit In Hopkinsville

A high-speed pursuit led to the arrest of two people on Crest Drive in Hopkinsville Tuesday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop a car on Eagle Way at Fort Campbell Boulevard for a broken headlight and the driver fled.

The pursuit reportedly got up to speeds of 112 mph before the driver ran the car off the road  on Crest Drive.

The driver fled on foot and has not been located. Two passengers in the vehicle were arrested after deputies say a stolen gun and marijuana were found in their possession.
