A man and woman were injured in a wreck at Turkey Bay in the Trigg County portion of Land Between the Lakes Sunday afternoon.
Trigg County emergency personnel say shortly before 3:00 a man, whose name has not been released, was driving his UTV along the trail in the Turkey Bay off Highway Vehicle Area when the vehicle slid down an embankment. The UTV then hit a tree, overturned, and landed on top of a passenger. The driver was ejected from the UTV.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Murray Calloway County Hospital. The man was taken by private vehicle to another hospital.
Emergency Personnel say the man and woman’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
