Deputies have released the name of a woman injured in a crash on the Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County Tuesday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by 18-year-old Jakayla Watkins of Oak Grove was southbound when it collided with a deer in the roadway. Watkins was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for stomach pain.
The crash happened five miles north of the Kentucky 1682 exit just before 1 am.
