Police have released the name of a man that was charged after he reportedly fired shots at a vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Michael Ault of Hopkinsville was walking on the side of Fort Campbell Boulevard when for an unknown reason he fired two shots at a northbound vehicle.
Witnesses reportedly called the police and Ault was located wearing all black still walking in the area. Police say He started yelling and resisting arrest by dragging his feet as he was taken into custody.
The vehicle he was shooting at has not been located. Shell casings were found in the area of Skyline Drive and Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Adult is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, second-degree disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
