Despite some scattered rain and sprinkles, a great crowd of ghosts, ghouls, goblins and other characters gathered for the Downtown Trick-or-Treat event in Hopkinsville Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Coordinator Pam Rudd said she was happy for the return of the event in downtown this year with more than two dozen businesses and organizations participating.
After last year’s annual Downtown Trick-or-Treat event was changed to a drive-thru at the Trail of Tears Park due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Parks & Rec Superintendent Tab Brockman said they were thankful to return to in-person in downtown this year.
He also expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated in Friday’s event.
