If you want to start the Thanksgiving day activities with a little exercise prior to the holiday festivities, mark your calendar for the annual Turkey Trot in downtown Hopkinsville.
Toby Hudson and Tab Brockman with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation say the annual run and walk kicks off bright and early on Thanksgiving morning.
Hudson and Brockman say signup is underway, with this year's Turkey Trot t-shirt available for purchase.
Turkey trotters can choose from the traditional route or a secondary route.
