The Christian County Clerks Office reported two candidate filings on Monday for next year’s primary election.
Republican candidate Donald Marsh has filed to run for the Hopkinsville City Council Ward 3 seat currently held by Alethea West.
Also, David Fernandez became the third candidate to file for the District 7 seat on Christian County Fiscal Court. Fernandez, a former Hopkinsville city councilman, is the first Democrat to file for the spot being vacated with current magistrate Jerry Gilliam running for county judge-executive.
