Beta Nu Angel Trees Are Available for Adoption

What began as a toy drive for pediatric patients at Trigg County Hospital nearly four decades ago has transformed into one of the largest charities of the holiday season.

Nancy Moore, coordinator of the Beta Nu Chapter Epsilon Sigma Alpha Angel Tree program says the annual charity event is underway in Trigg County to benefit both children and the elderly in need.

click to download audioMoore said this year represents a slight increase from the 200 angels that were available for adoption last year. She said children up to 12 years of age appear on the form you pick up.

click to download audioMoore asks that people individually wrap each gift and drop them off on December 10 where the angel form was picked up.

Beta Nu is the Trigg County chapter of the international philanthropic sorority Epsilon Sigma Alpha. The Angel Tree is one of several fundraisers the group participates in throughout the year.
