Woman Killed In Christian County Fiery Crash

Authorities have released the name of a Tennessee woman that was killed in a wreck on Gracey Herndon Road in Christian County  Saturday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say the car driven by 31-year-old Lindsay Majors of Murfreesboro  ran off the road about a mile before Kentucky 272 and hit an embankment causing the car to overturn.

The vehicle then caught fire trapping her inside.  Deputies say they attempted to get her out of the vehicle but were unsuccessful.

Majors was pronounced dead at the scene by Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel.

Deputies say they had received a report of a reckless driver in the area just before the crash.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Square Deal Fire Department,  Christian County Rescue, and Christian County EMS.
