A man wanted in connection to a shooting that happened on East 18th Street in Hopkinsville on November 24th has been taken into custody.
Hopkinsville Police say 32-year-old Demario White was arrested Tuesday night in reference to a shooting that injured a man and woman on East 18th Street.
The man was reportedly shot in the leg and a woman was grazed when shots were fired at the apartment complex at the intersection of Jones Street.
The man was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter that flew him to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
White is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, tampering with physical evidence, wanton endangerment, and first- and second-degree assault.
