Retiring Crittenden PVA Heady Running for State Legislature

The retiring property valuation administrator of Crittenden County has filed to run for the Kentucky House of Representatives from the 4th District.

Ronnie Heady of Marion filed to run as a Democrat. Two others — incumbent Lynn Bechler, also of Marion, and Fredonia City Councilman Kristopher Driver — have filed to run in the Republican primary.

Heady was elected Crittenden County PVA in 1998 and is the longest-serving PVA in the county’s history, according to the Crittenden Press newspaper.

District 4 includes Caldwell, Crittenden, and Livingston County and part of Christian County.

The deadline to file in partisan elections is January 7.
