Mediation To Be Scheduled In McHenry Street Murder Case

A mediation will be scheduled to try and resolve the case of a Hopkinsville man charged in connection to a fatal shooting on McHenry Street in August 2019.

Robert Torian, III is charged with the murder of 25-year old Terrell Moore of Hopkinsville.

Torian and his attorney, Jason Byrd appeared virtually in Christian County Circuit Court before Judge Andrew Self with Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling appearing in the courtroom and stating they are going to try to resolve the case.

click to download audioTorian was charged with murder after police said the two men got into a verbal argument while inside the same vehicle on August 11, 2019. According to Hopkinsville Police, Torian got out of the back seat of the vehicle, opened the front passenger door, and shot Moore in the face. Torian was reportedly identified as the shooter by an eyewitness.

Torian remains lodged in the Christian County Jail.
