Victim Identified In Fatal Greenville Road Crash

Authorities have released the name of a Christian County man that died after being struck by a vehicle on Greenville Road in Christian County Thursday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 84-year-old James Wells was hit by a southbound truck at the 10000 block of Greenville Road while checking his mail just before 6 pm. Wells was pronounced dead at the scene by the Christian County Coroner’s Office.

Greenville Road was blocked in the area as the crash was investigated.
