A Hopkinsville woman was charged with strangulation after an altercation on South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 19-year-old Desiree Youngblood used her hands to intentionally apply pressure to a 9-year-old child’s neck impeding their breathing.
She was arrested and charged with first-degree strangulation and fourth-degree assault.
