McConnell Promises Continued Storm Rebuilding Help

United States Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell is promising continued assistance to help with rebuilding communities that were devastated during the December 10 tornado.

During a Saturday morning stop in Dawson Springs to survey tornado damage Senator McConnell reassured Dawson and other communities of his long-term commitment to helping them rebuild.

click to download audioThe city of Dawson Springs is filled with hundreds of volunteers with chainsaws and heavy equipment cutting and moving trees, limbs, and other debris left behind by the tornado. The city is also filled with volunteers from the American Red Cross and other groups and organizations providing meals and other essential services to help Dawson Springs get back open and on it’s feet.
