Woman Charged With Taking Free Items For Tornado Victims

A Lafayette woman was charged after she reportedly took meals, lodging, and gifts meant for tornado victims Tuesday afternoon.

Trigg County Sheriff’s Office Major Mike Sandbrink says 35-year-old Veronica Pryor was staying at the Lake Barkley Lodge free and receiving meals and gifts meant for tornado victims.

She was arrested and charged with theft of services and theft by deception.
