A man was injured in a shooting on Greenville Road in Christian County Wednesday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Rick Burgess says an altercation between 49-year-old Raymond Brown of Christian County and another man over returning a house key led to Brown firing shots hitting the man in the arm at least one time.
Brown reportedly fired 6 rounds from a rifle and 3 more from a handgun during the altercation.
Law enforcement was first told about the shooting when the man showed up at Jennie Stuart Medical Center with a gunshot wound just before midnight.
The man was then transferred to a Nashville hospital. The full extent of his injuries was unknown.
Deputies say Brown was arrested and charged with first-degree assault. The shooting happened at the 13000 block of Greenville Road.
