A Christian County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Pennyrile Parkway just two miles north of exit 11 on Christmas Day.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car was southbound when it ran off the road and hit a tree.
The driver had to be cut from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say speed and tires may have contributed to the crash.
The crash happened just after 4 pm. Deputies were assisted by Highland Fire Department and Christian County Rescue.
