A Crofton man was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop for a broken headlight on Madisonville Road in Crofton Monday night.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 24-year-old Dalton Ezell was stopped at the Hucks gas station and during the stop, deputies could smell marijuana in his vehicle.
After a search of the vehicle, a marijuana blunt, 1.4 ounces of meth, a digital scale along with unused hypodermic needles were reportedly found.
Deputies say he admitted the drugs and the vehicle were his. Ezell was arrested and charged with trafficking meth and possession of marijuana. He was also cited for no seatbelt, one headlight, no registration, no insurance, and improper equipment.
