A Cadiz woman found inside the Trigg County High School vocational building in September has been indicted by the Trigg County grand jury.
37-year-old Charley Hooks was indicted by the December session on a charge of first-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief.
Hooks was arrested around 6:30 on the morning of September 22 — just minutes before students were scheduled to arrive at the school for the school day.
Cadiz Police said Hooks entered the vocational building and consumed food and drinks from a refrigerator in the Trigg Tots classroom. Police say Hooks was discovered by employees to be asleep in the front room of the preschool area. A large folding knife was found next to Hooks, according to the report, which went on to say that a rug and sheets Hooks was lying on had blood on them.
