A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 6am to 7pm for the area, with the National Weather Service increasing the amount of snow they are predicting for the region.
The National Weather Service says 4 to 8 inches of snow could blanket the ground in Trigg, Christian, and Todd counties throughout the day Thursday with temperatures in the single digits Thursday night.
During a conference call Wednesday afternoon, Weather Service Lead Forecaster Chris Noles said the southern Pennyrile has seen its snow prediction increase to four to eight inches.
