Some roads around the region are beginning to clear up, but officials are asking motorists to stay off the roads unless they must travel.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District One Spokesman Keith Todd says major routes across their region are faring well.
Todd adds if you must be out today, use extreme caution.
Roads will continue to clear Saturday, as high temperatures will rise to near 50 degrees. Rain moves in Saturday night through Sunday, with temperatures again dipping below freezing Sunday night.
