The Western Kentucky State Fair and Drew Expositions of Georgia are donating $10,000 to the area tornado recovery effort.
Fair Board President Kent Boyd said Wednesday that since the 2021 Western Kentucky State Fair was a successful one, they felt it important to give back to the community.
The $10,000 donation will be divided between Christian, Caldwell, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, and Todd counties.
Drew Expositions of Augusta, Georgia is the carnival that has come to Hopkinsville and joined in the effort to donate to the recovery efforts.
