The American Legion Post 74 Auxiliary recently presented a sizeable donation to veterans in Mayfield impacted by the December 10 tornado thanks to the raffle of a patriotic quilt.
Auxiliary members Ann Curtsinger and Linda Copeland drew the name of Joe Hortcher of Benton as the winner of the quilt during a recent edition of the WKDZ Country Club. Curtsinger says the quilt was made by a young lady from Trigg County.
