Christian County Schools Provides Five-Year Plan Update To Chamber

Christian County School officials say the staff and students are well engaged in the district’s five-year plan.

School officials, Hopkinsville and Christian County High School students, and other community partners provided updates during the State of the Schools Christian County Chamber of Commerce Eye-opener breakfast Tuesday morning.

Assistant Superintendent of Instruction Jessica Addison, who helped facilitate the five-year plan, noted the five pillars are based on input from the community and the school district.

Gary Keeton received the All In Award, with the Inspire Award presented to Martin Luther King, Jr, Elementary School, and the Engage Award to DeeAnna Sova. Christian County and Hopkinsville High School Bands were honored with the Succeed Award and the Heart of Christian County Public Schools award was presented to retired Hopkinsville Vocational Agriculture Instructor and FFA Advisor the late Troy Goode, with the award accepted by his wife Anna.
