The progress of the 2022-24 state budget, caregiver rights, and tornado recovery are among issues discussed by area legislators during the latest week of the Kentucky General Assembly session.
3rd District State Senator Whitney Westerfield says he is glad to see the state budget in the hands of the Senate after being passed quickly by the Kentucky House of Representatives last week. Westerfield says his primary concern will be what comes out of conference committee, particularly the area he represents.
