An investigation into guns that were stolen in southern Graves County led to the arrest of two men and a juvenile.

Graves County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Jones says on January 20th three handguns and a rifle with a metal lockbox were taken from a home in Southern Graves County.

The guns were reported stolen on January 22nd and the investigation reportedly led them to 18-year-old Joshua Meador of Trigg County then to an address in Benton where one gun was found and 18-year-old Trevor Towner of Marshall County was arrested.

Deputies say a second interview with a 17-year-old at a Benton address led them to the rest of the weapons along with the lockbox.

A warrant was obtained for the 17-year-old and he was arrested on January 28th in Crofton.

All three men are charged with third-degree criminal mischief and four counts of theft by unlawful taking. The 17-year-old was also charged with falsely reporting an incident.
