A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary and violating a domestic violence order on North O’Neal Avenue Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the home for a report of a burglary in progress and found 27-year-old Edward Calhoun leaving the home out a backdoor.
He reportedly forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s home through the backdoor. Police say Calhoun has an active domestic violence order.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and violation of a Kentucky domestic violence order
