Wabash National Changing Names

Wabash has re-branded its corporation and portfolio of brands under one singular umbrella, uniting the company’s products, services, employees, customers and business partners.

Initially announced last November, the name change from Wabash to “One” was made official during the company’s fourth-quarter earnings conference call February 2.

According to trailer-bodybuilders.com, the company reported that 2021 winter quarter sales were $479.3 million — up nearly 19% from a year ago — despite persistent supply chain challenges.

Wabash will no longer go to market as “Wabash National,” nor will it use other trade and brand names that have been acquired in the last 16 years, including “Benson,” “Brenner,” “Bulk Tank,” “Supreme,” “Transcraft” and “Walker.”

The company’s van trailers, platform trailers, tank trailers, truck bodies, process systems and parts/service will be re-branded and marketed as “Wabash.”

President/CEO Brent Yeagy noted the decision to re-brand was a “strategic choice that will help the company in its long-term growth strategy,” and he added there is a “momentous transition happening in transportation, logistics and distribution, as the industry adapts to a compilation of forces.”

The full re-name will be “One Wabash,” and a new website can be found at OneWabash.com.
