A boil water advisory from the Lake Barkley Water District remains in effect through Tuesday and into early Wednesday for parts of Rockcastle, along Prizer Point Road, Pleasure Ridge Road, Junction Drive and Clover Circle.
Officials note service has already been established to residents in the area, but boiling remains advised for no less than the next 12-to-15 hours.
In a boil water advisory, drinking water should be boiled for no less than three minutes before being brought to room temperature for daily use. This includes water for pets, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation.
