County Clerk Details Election Plan At Trigg Fiscal Court

Trigg County Clerk Carmen Finley says three days of early voting and seven voting centers will streamline the Primary Election in May.

Finley provided the county Primary Election plan to Trigg County Fiscal Court during Tuesday’s meeting at the county courthouse annex. Finley says three days of early voting will take place the week prior to the Primary Election.

In other action, magistrates approved the county clerk settlement that included a record amount of excess fees turned over to county Treasurer Lucy Kyler. Finley reported that her office was very busy during the past year with all types of transactions.

Magistrates approved the monthly expenditures, transfers, and budget amendment during the meeting.
