UHA Headmaster Set To Retire

University Heights Academy will be looking for a new headmaster. The School announced late Friday night that Beth Unfried, who has held the position since July 2018, will be retiring at the end of the school year. Before coming to UHA, she spent 30 years in education at the Clarksville Montgomery County School System.

Unfried says “the students, parents, and staff at UHA make up an amazing educational group and their commitment to excellence in a family-like atmosphere is unmatched.” She goes on to say she will cherish her time at University Heights and will forever be a Blazer.

Board Chairman Tim Flynn says “Unfried has done great things for UHA and the school has thrived during her tenure.” The UHA Board of Trustees and Administration say they are committed to a smooth transition and maintaining the long tradition of excellence as they start the process of hiring a new head of school.
