A Hopkinsville man and woman were charged with endangering the welfare of a minor after a request to check the welfare of the children staying at the home Friday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were asked to check the welfare of the children staying at the home on Dawson Springs Road owned by 42-year-old Christopher Kursave and 41-year-old Staci Kursave.
Animal feces was reportedly found all over the floor and the children were stepping in it.
Deputies say there was no food in the house, the fridge was dirty and had mold inside it, the kitchen counter was stacked up with dirty dishes approximately a foot tall.
Christopher Kursave and Staci Kursave were both arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
