A Clifty man was charged after he reportedly hit a man with a vehicle on Heltsley Lane in Todd County Thursday morning.
Todd County Sheriff Tracy White says Joshua Liggons went to the home of 43-year-old Johnny Dukes for a ride to Hopkinsville for a job interview.
While at the home, Dukes reportedly intentionally hit Liggons with his Volkswagen Beetle and drove off.
Liggons was able to walk home but suffered several injuries to his body including a broken collar bone. Dukes was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
Liggons was taken by ambulance to Muhlenberg Community Hospital.
