A Hopkinsville man was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Dawson Springs Road Monday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 26-year-old Joseph Weatherford was stopped for expired registration tags.
During the stop meth, a syringe, and a backpack containing a large amount of marijuana was found after a law enforcement K9 alerted on the bag.
Weatherford was arrested and charged with possession of meth, no registration plates, driving on a suspended or revoked license, no insurance, tampering with physical evidence, and trafficking marijuana.
