Christian County Logs Twelve New COVID-19 Cases

The Christian County Health Department is reporting twelve new COVID-19 cases this week, with more than 17,000 recorded since the start of the pandemic in 2020.

According to the weekly report of the twelve new cases this week, five are noted as breakthrough cases. Two of the new cases are in the pediatric age category, with eleven of the cases Caucasian.

Christian County officials are reporting 30 active COVID-19 cases in the county, with 15 in the 22 to 59 category, 8 in the birth to 21 age group, 5 in the 60 to 84 category, and 2 in the 85 and older group.

There have been 17,121 cases of COVID-19 reported in Christian County since the start of the pandemic, with 16,907 recovered cases, and 184 deaths.
