South West Kentucky EDC Showcases New Christian County Spec Building

Continuing with the theme of “If We Build It They Will Come” the South West Kentucky EDC showcased the new 100,000 square foot spec building during an open house on March 10.

Among those on hand to inspect the new facility was Kentucky Director of Business Development Jeff Taylor, who noted the importance of spec buildings when recruiting new companies.

click to download audioSouth West Kentucky EDC Executive Director Carter Hendricks says the goal when the ground was broken on the spec building on March 4, 2021, was to have the building sold time it was completed. Hendricks’ noted there is still work to do on the building.

click to download audioThe new spec building is located in Commerce Park in Christian County just off U. S. 41. Plans for a spec building that will be located in Interstate Park in Trigg County were recently discussed by Trigg County Fiscal Court.
