A Cadiz man was charged with his second DUI after he was found passed out in a vehicle on US 68 in Trigg County Wednesday afternoon.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Oden says someone reported a vehicle that had been driving recklessly that pulled over to the side of the roadway on US 68.
The driver 25-year-old Alan Fox was reportedly still stopped on the side of the road and passed out at the wheel with the vehicle still in drive when deputies arrived.
Oden says Fox’s truck had driven over a white pole on the side of the road. Fox was reportedly stumbling and unable to follow the deputy’s instructions during the investigation.
Oden says several beer cans were found in the vehicle and Fox stated he knew he was in trouble and he knows he was drinking and driving. Fox is charged with DUI second offense, no registration plates, and theft by unlawful taking.
